Description - Description: The research area is located on the Loviisa 9.5m sea fairway in Loviisa. The purpose of the underlying ground surveys is to determine the ground conditions of the area to plan the construction of the fairway.Basic surveys include drillin g (clamp/reflector and drill drilling), soil sampling and their laboratory tests. The acquisition includes option sediment sampling. The work is done from a 3-foot work ferry based on the bottom, which can rely on max. about -20 m depth. Drill depth max. about - 16.5 m N2000. Based on the ground surveys, the aim is to investigate the location of the rock surface in the design area and the soil boundaries, as well as soil types and their dredging.
