Description - Description: The Blankenbergse Vaart is one of the drainage channels of the Nieuwe Polder of Blankenberge, running from Sint-Pieters-op-den-Dijk in Bruges to Blankenberge. Here the canal flows into the Blankenberge marina via two discharge ducts with gates. The marina is in direct contact with the North Sea. This assignment includes the realization of the new drainage structure of the Blankenbergse Vaart. The automated discharge gates will be completely renovated and a new technical operating structure will be established.
