Description - STIB is implementing a Metro Modernization and Extension Program (PMM), the scope of which concerns the metro network of the Brussels-Capital Region. This program is in the process of implementing, among other things, the implementation of a mobile b lock signaling system that uses CBTC (Communication Based Train Control) technology. This allows the automatic driving of the metros, namely the UTO (Unattended Train Operation), including for this purpose also a system of platform facades in the stations.
