Description - GENERAL STATEMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. REQUIREMENT: 36 aircraft sunshades damaged by Hurricane Idalia need to be repaired. The damage ranges from structural steel tubing and cross members that have bent, canopy tension lacing has become loose or broken to 5 sunshades that experienced total canopy failure and detachment. A site survey will be necessary to inspect the amount of damage per sunshade. Please utilize additional attachments (Statement of Work and DAFI 21-101 CH 15)
