Description - Description: The Council’s Environmental Services has an ongoing statutory obligation in terms of air quality under the Environment Act 1995. The obligations on the Council include the monitoring and subsequent reporting of air quality to protect a nd enhance standards of air quality within the South Lanarkshire geographical area.The Council, upon successful application, receives external funding from the Local Air Quality Management Funding (LAQM) administered by the Scottish Government Air Quality Grant Scheme to fund obligated activities to develop measures to record, protect and enhance standards of air quality throughout the South Lanarkshire geographical area.The Council is looking to
