Description - Description: The MRC CTBFS is located in Kazabazua at 11 Brundtland Road. Septic tank sludge collected on the territory of 16 of the 17 municipalities of the MRC is transported to the CTBFS by “tank” or “partial emptying” or “juggler” typ e emptying trucks. Upon receipt, these materials are subjected to a sieving process using a screen, eliminating impurities such as plastic or other residues that are not compatible with their treatment. The next phase involves chemical separation, during which cationic polymer is added. Then, the physical separation (dehydration) of the material is carried out using a rotary press. This process results in two types of extracts: a liquid fraction
