Description - Description: 1. This RFP is open to all interested vendors.2. Calgary Transit is soliciting responses from interested suppliers to provide critical DC components of the traction power system at one (1) or more NW Light Rail Transit (LRT) substations. The NW LRT DC Switchgear Replacement Project will update critical DC components of the traction power substation, including the DC Switchgear, Rail Ground Switch, and Negative Disconnect Switch. The traction power transformer and rectifier were upgraded in 2012 so this project will bring the remaining traction power specific equipment up to date.
