For this reason, there is a need for a reserve capacity of approximately 3,600.00 m³/h or 1,000.00 l/sec to mainta in a reliable influent pumpingal. There is a temporary pumping station, arrangement 2+0, built into the Vijzelgeam to create an extra capacity that can vary between 900.00 m³/h or 250.00 l/sec and 3,600.00 m³/h or 1,000.00 l/sec.
