Description - Description: Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has approximately 3150 bridges that require a Principal Engineering Inspection (PEI) every 6 years. IÉ is seeking competitive tenders from suitably experienced, certified and fully resourced contractors, (the Con tractor) to undertake facilitation of bridge access inspection works on a selected number of these bridges in the form of a variety of Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS). The MEWP Access Inspections are planned for a number of bridge assets where normal access is prohibitive and will require suitable and safe traffic management.
