Description - Description The German Sustainability Code (DNK) was developed by the Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) in 2011 and implemented as a voluntary instrument for disclosing corporate sustainability performance. In addition to being used as a repo rting standard, the DNK is used in particular by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to set up their own sustainability management, which currently has over 1,200 user companies. In January 2023, the EU passed the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), a significant expansion of requirements in the context of sustainability reporting. The CSRD requirements are specified in the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
