Description - OUS must acquire 1 ultrasound device for ortho/neuroanaesthesia, particularly suitable for nerve blocks. The ultrasound device is to be used for several different tasks in emergency medicine for adults, children and infants, but must be particularly well suited for superficial and deep peripheral nerve blocks as well as neuraxial blockades. Visualization of the column (epidural space/paravertebral space) and intercostal space is particularly important. It will be used by doctors in the department and in training. The ultrasound device must be robust and able to withstand rapid movement and handling in emergency situations.
