Description - INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Livanova. This purchase order will be for Protek Duo, Dual lumen (RVAD/VV-ECMO), cannula (29FR and 31FR) for the cardiology Dep artment at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Central Richmond Virginia.  The Protek Duo provides centrifugal flow throughout the heart; rated up to 5 L/min with sizes, 29 FR and 31 FR. It has the ability to be connected to portable heart pump and/or oxygenator.
