Description - Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) remains a core concern of German Development Cooperation. In 2014, BMZ started the special initiative "ONE WORLD - No Hunger" (EINEWELT ohne Hunger, known as SEWOH). Since then, almost 20% of Germany"s development co operation funds have been allocated to food and nutrition security, agriculture and rural development, with annual commitments of around EUR 1.5 billion. BMZ announced a comprehensive reform strategy "BMZ 2030 reform strategy - new thinking - new direction" in 2020, refocusing the German Development cooperation. The primary aim remains to overcome hunger and poverty and to implement the 2030 Agenda and achieve its 17 Sustainable Development Goals
