Description - Description: At Coppermine WRF, Paulding County Water System (PCWS) experienced a liner failure at Pond #2, which is typically used to store wastewater prior to pumping to an approximate 200-acre land application site (LAS). The pond includes a 23-fo ot-deep wet well equipped with three 150-hp pumps, each capable of delivering approximately 2,500 gpm, although only one pump is typically operated under normal conditions. Following the failure, PCWS installed temporary piping and pumping to bypass Pond #2 and maintain land application operations.
