Description - The Placer County Department of Facilities Management, Building Maintenance Division requires an annual agreement with a qualified plumbing contractor to perform on-call plumbing maintenance, service, and repairs at County-owned buildings throughout Placer County and including the North Lake Tahoe area. Services include but are not limited to troubleshooting, diagnosis, repairs, and replacements. The contractor could potentially encounter asbestos in the County’s older buildings while performing services. California Code of Regulations Title 8, Section 1529, requires that the contractor’s employees performing the work shall be trained pursuant to the asbestos awareness training program.
