Description - This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Town of Smiths Falls to qualified firms/consultants to submit proposals for consulting services to complete an update or new Town of Smiths Falls Official Plan. The Town of Smiths Falls is issuing th is RFP to solicit statements of qualifications and pricing from qualified planning firms/consultants capable of undertaking a comprehensive update or preparation of a new Official Plan for the Town of Smiths Falls, which will include separate supporting technical studies and site-specific area policies in accordance with Section 26 of the Ontario Planning Act (or Section 17, if so directed by Council) and the requirements herein.
