Africa Eu Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme RECP Tenders

The Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme will follow a structured and strategic approach to overcome the existing constraints and barriers, and exploit the opportunities that the renewable energy sector in Africa presents. The RECP includes all renewable energy technologies,resources, and applications. The RECP will adopt a holistic approach, covering the entire energy value chain, from resource management to energy end use sectors. In addition to the generation of electricity from renewable resources, it will also cover renewable energy as a source for mechanical and thermal power, cooking, agro-processing, etc. The programme seeks to maximise opportunities for cooperation between governments, NGOs,research institutions and universities, and business organisations in Europe and Africa.
