Description - Region: Africa Commitment Amount: US$ 192.00 million Borrower: MINISTRY OF FINANCE Project Development Objective(s) : The PDO is to: (a) strengthen transport planning; (b) improve transport efficiency and safety on the Babadjou-Bamenda sec tion of the Yaounde - Bamenda transport corridor; and (c) enhance safety and security at selected airports Project Description : The proposed project would be structured around three major components, with a fourth component to support project implementation, as follows: Component 1: Transport planning and capacity building (estimated costs US$ US$ 10.7) 3. This component aims at strengthening the capacity of the public sector in the planning, development, management and maintenance of transport infrastructure.
