Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) 1.Introduction Fuel Supplies Maldives Pvt Ltd ("FSM"), established in December 2000 is a subsidiary of State Trading Organization PLC (STO), formed with the main objective of streamlining fuel distribution in the country and to offer easy and convenient access to fuel related services and products throughout the country. Since the inception, FSM have been continuously improving the services and efficiency implementing the latest technologies, best practices and working vigorously to improve the capacity of the company, meeting the challenges and the ever growing expectations of the customers. 2. Call for Expression of Interest This document provides the general information for the submission of EOI, its assessment and eligibility criteria to submit written Expression of Interest (EOI) for: Design and Build Fuel Barge for FSM. The purpose of this EOI is to assist FSM in the identification and evaluation of potential contractors who may subsequently be invited to tender or provide Proposals. 3. General Requirement 3.1 The Applicants who meet the following minimum requirements are invited to submit EOI, a) Must be a reputed manufacturer/shipbuilder b) Must not be a default customer of FSM 3. 2 The EOI shall include the following submissions and declarations, a) Letter of EOI stating the Applicant's interested option or options. b) Applicant details: company's business name, country of incorporation, registry number; address of the corporate headquarters and its branch office(s), date of incorporation and/or commencement of business, company's Memorandum of Association and Article of Association. c) Details of individual who will serve as the point of contact for Fuel Supplies Maldives Pvt Ltd from the side of the Applicant, including Name, Designation, Address, Telephone Number, E‐ Mail Address and Power of Attorney from the Applicant. 4. Pre‐Qualification Process 4.1 Preliminary evaluation is to assess whether the Applicant has relevant experience to fulfill the requirements to propose the Bid. 4.2 Selected Applicants may be contacted for clarifications or queries and may be requested to provide certain documents. 4.3 Only a limited number of Applicants will be invited to tender and the submission of an expression of interest should not be taken as a guarantee of inclusion on the shortlist. Those applicants who are not invited to tender will be notified. 5. Submission Details a) Expressions of interest together with all completed documents in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked as: ‐ "Expression of Interest (EOI) for Design and build Fuel Barge for FSM" b) Expression of Interest shall be submitted by recorded delivery (official postal service) or hand delivered (including courier services) to the following address: Attn: General Manager, Procurement Department Fuel Supplies Maldives Pvt Ltd Aifaanu Building, 4th Floor Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Male' 20026 Republic of Maldives c) Queries should be sent via email to; , , on or before 10th January 2019 1600hrs; to which replies shall be circulated by 11th January 2019. d) The deadline for receipt of Expression of Interest is before 1400hrs on 17th January 2019.
