The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health ("CAMH") is Canada's largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital and a world leading research centre in this field. CAMH combines clinical care, research, education, policy development and health promotion to help transform the lives of people affected by mental illness and addiction. CAMH wishes to retain a Furniture and Equipment Planning Consultant for the new 377,000 sq. ft. Research Building on the Queen Street campus in downtown Toronto. The new Research Building will include wet bench, dry/computational labs with associated collaborative workspaces, a participants’ area, including specialty labs such as a driving simulator and smoking lab, associated staff and equipment support spaces, brain imaging facilities, an animal facility, inclusive of surgical suites, and public and staff amenity spaces, including an occupational health and wellness centre and a cafeteria. Proponents are encouraged to fully respond to this RFP. A shortlist of Proponents who meet the minimum scoring threshold will be invited to participate in an interview/ presentation which will be scored and evaluated as part of the Rated Criteria. Proponents are required to carefully respond to the Mandatory Criteria and the Rated Criteria requirements. Proponents that fail to meet the mandatory requirements shall not be eligible for further consideration in the evaluation process.
