| Description: | Letter of Invitation to Tender Date: 1st March 2018 Invitation for Tenders No: HDC (161)-PRO/IU/2018/12 1. Housing Development Corporation Ltd invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for the design, fabrication, supply and installation of 4-storey distribution center in Hulhumale, Maldives (hereinafter called the "Works" or "Project") and the remedying of any defects therein. 2. Housing Development Corporation Ltd will be financing for the works. 3. Tenderers may obtain further information about this Invitation of Tenders from, and inspect the tender documents at the office of [Housing Development Corporation, 3rd Floor, HDC Building, Hulhumale, Republic of Maldives]. 4. A complete set of the tender documents may be obtained by eligible interested Tenderers on submitting a written application to the aforesaid office and upon payment of non-refundable fee of USD 500.00 (United States Dollars Five hundred or equivalent in MVR) 5. Tenders must be submitted to the office mentioned below in clause 8, not later than 14:00hrs on 20th March 2018 and must be accompanied by a tender security, in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, in the amount of [United Stotes Dollars One Hundred Thousand Only (USD 100,000.00)] 6. Tenders will be opened in a session to be held at the office mentioned above and in the presence of representatives of tenderers who wish to attend. This session will take place at time and date tabulated in Clause 7 of this section or such other time and date as may be notified to the tenderers. 7. Dates and timing for the tender process.
