IFB No: PE-PATRIP-AKF-NMFA-Rushan-Service 006/2016 Bids submission deadline extension Under newly established the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan Regional Integration Program, the Royal Norwegian of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) have set aside funds through the German Development Bank (KfW) and the Aga Khan Foundation (United Kingdom) (AKF(UK)) for the Rushan-I Cross-border energy project. Consequently, within this project, Pamir Energy Company announced tender for Construction of 35kV lines and 0.4kV distribution networks including installation of 35/0.4kV transformers and installation of electric meters in 17 villages of Moh-i-Mai District, Afghanistan on August 10th, 2016. In pursuance with tender requirements (Clause 7: Site Visit and Pre-Tender), Pamir Energy Company (PamirEnergy) invited interested bidders for pre-tender meeting and site visit, which, as initially planned, had to take place in 17 villages of Moh-i-May District of Afghanistan from September 7, 2016; however, visa procedures took longer than usual, also, due to temporary closure of Tajik – Afghan Border in view of recent public holidays in Tajikistan. This, therefore, will not allow timely submission bids by the initial proposed deadline of September 21st, 2016. PamirEnergy, therefore, in conformity with the tender requirements and in order to further enhance competitiveness of the bidding process extends the bids' submission deadline until October 5, 2016.
