| Description: | Tender No: F/034/2025 OVERVIEW Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT) is the pioneer fixed wire-line telecommunication service provider in Sri Lanka having over a one million subscribers (85% of total fixed line market). Along with its subsidiaries, SLT is the only integrated operator in Sri Lanka to offer fixed line, mobile, Internet, broadband, IPTV and data services. We operate our businesses in mobile, fixed communication and entertainment services under single brand name SLTMOBITEL. For further details, pls. visit https://www.slt.lk/ Key Requirements Key objective of this RFQ is to collect details of prospective suppliers who can cater SLT's Fiber Distribution Point (FDP). We are seeking the principal suppliers of Fiber Distribution Point (FDP) of the Telecommunication industry to purchase Fiber Distribution Point (FDP) manufactured as per our technical specifications. Proposals received via re-sellers; local agents or any thirdparty suppliers will not be accepted. The specification is attached herewith for your reference. Prospective suppliers will undergo the below indicated process. 1. Standardization of Fiber Distribution Point (FDP) and short listing of suppliers - (This tender) 2. Purchasing of Fiber Distribution Point (FDP) through competitive bidding floated among shortlisted suppliers of this tender. (Upcoming tenders floated when the need arises) Standardization of FTTH ONT and short listing of suppliers Under this phase, SLT will collect compliance documents from manufacturers along with the samples. Documents forwarded by the suppliers will be evaluated and Samples will be tested within a lab environment and in actual field. Successful products will be standardized, and corresponding suppliers will be shortlisted for upcoming tenders. Successful suppliers will be registered in SLT. Purchasing of materials via competitive bidding When need arises, SLT will call tenders from above shortlisted suppliers as unit rate contacts. Contract terms, pricing, etc. can be negotiated at the time of commercial negotiations of each tender.
