Description:	Aqualectra N.V. is the utility company of Curacao, responsible for the production and distribution of electricity and water and the delivery of the accompanying services such as metering, installation and billing. Given the island's unprecedented economic growth, accompanied by supply chain constraints and climate challenges, Aqualectra is hereby requesting suppliers for temporary power (as described in the scope below), while permanent power solutions are diligently built. The requested services Aqualectra is inviting well-experienced and qualified temporary power suppliers to submit proposals for: i. the delivery and installation of 10 MW temporary power for a maximum period of 2 years; ii. the delivery and installation of 15 MW temporary power for a maximum period of 2 years; iii. the delivery and installation of 20 MW temporary power for a maximum period of 2 years; iv. the delivery and installation of 30 MW temporary power for a maximum period of 2 years; and v. the delivery and installation of 40 MW temporary power for a maximum period of 2 years. Requirements Of the various requirements included in the Request For Proposal (RFP), the following are the most important ones: • The supplier has proven experience (minimum 5 years) with delivery and installation of temporary power. • The supplier has installation and resources available to supply the product in accordance with industry standards and can supply the product expeditiously within the stipulated time frame for the coming two (2) years. • The supplier has an established quality assurance system in accordance with ISO certification or equivalent. • Participant(s) against whom there exists a criminal conviction because of an irrevocable court order, are excluded from participation. • A certified statement from the tax office showing proof that the participant has fulfilled its obligations based on the legal provisions regarding payment of taxes and social security should be submitted and cannot be older than 3 months. In the case of an international participant, proof indicating that the participant is in good standing suffices. • Proof that the participant is not in the state of bankruptcy or liquidation, or that the activities have been discontinued or against whom a payment moratorium applies. Issuance of tender document All participants must register by sending an email in the period of March 11, 2024, till March 20, 2024, before 12:00 PM local time (GMT-4), to the e-mail address temporarypower@aqualectra.com. Upon registration, applicants will receive a return e-mail with a notification containing the application instructions. Aqualectra will sell the RFP at the price of US$ 250, =. The last day to receive proof of payment is March 20, 2024, at 12:00 PM local time (GMT-4). Aqualectra will e-mail the tender document to all applicants simultaneously on March 20, 2024, at 17:00 local time (GMT-4). Information and clarification on tender A clarification meeting will be held, via TEAMS on March 26, 2024, at 10:00 PM local time (GMT-4). The clarification minutes will be sent on March 28, 2024. The deadline for submitting clarifying questions is April 4, 2024.Aqualectra will send the answers to all clarifying questions received to the participants on April 9, 2024. The deadline for the submission of the proposal including all required documents is May 8, 2024, at 10:00 (GMT -4).
