Description: Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a membership organization that provides a certification tool to enable sustainable management of forests. Currently, over 200 million hectares of forests worldwide are certified to FSC standards. It is widely regarded as the most rigorous forest certification system among NGOs, consumers, and businesses alike to maintain healthy and resilient forests.

Forest Stewardship Council is inviting proposals for the review and revision of existing national and centralized risk assessments related to forest products. The objective is to align these assessments with the FSC-PRO-60-006b Risk Assessment Framework. While existing versions of the risk assessments are useful, they need to be reviewed and revised. The project involves reviewing existing assessments, identifying gaps, conducting independent research, engaging stakeholders, and preparing revised drafts for FSC review.

We are now inviting qualified respondents to bid on one or more lots for the following countries:

22. Uruguay

If you or your organization are interested in responding to this request for a country not listed, we still invite you to submit an Expression of Interest to be considered in the next tranche of lots. If you think that you or your organization may have the required qualification and experience for this type of work, we would like to invite you to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements, please send an email with subject line "FSC_531_RFP_Review and Revision of CNRA’’ to procurement_tenders@fsc.org to request tender file.
