| Description: | The Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) is currently looking to construct a world-class science hub and public aquarium in Aqaba. The project shall be a cornerstone of Jordan’s vision for sustainable tourism and environmental stewardship, that represents a significant step in the city of Aqaba’s journey towards becoming a leading global destination. ADC is seeking to employ a Joint Venture consisting of an International Contractor specialized in construction of public Aquariums with a first-grade local contractor classified by the Government Tendering Department (GTD) in the fields of Building Construction and electromechanical and renewable energy works simultaneously. The joint venture shall also subcontract specialized subcontractors in Acrylic Works, Life Support System Works, Theming works, Digital Works (Screens, Advanced Audio-Visual Displays…etc.). This announcement is to solicit Contractor’s interest (Expression of Interest - EOI) for the construction of the Aqaba science hub and public aquarium facilities and components. ADC requires each joint venture to be successfully prequalified before the Tender Documents are released to the shortlisted prequalified bidders who successfully passed the prequalification stage. All interested Contractors who have the technical and financial capabilities with appropriate and relevant experience to request the EOI form by an email to tenders@adc.jo . EOI form must be returned fully filled and signed (electronically and in original hard copy formats) to tenders@adc.jo. Contractors must include in their EOI response the name of the contact person to facilitate the communication and correspondences process. Eligible Contractors shall be provided with the Prequalification questionnaire document (PQQ). Deadline for submission of prequalification document is C.O.B Sunday June 30th, 2024.
