  Description - Objective: Our operational strategy for the initial two years of this task has been developed from our long established experience in technology transfer, information dissemination and RTD support for all actors i, the energy field. We intend to prov  ide a comprehensive EU service which will complement the activities currently being provided under Irish National Programmes. The services will take the form of:- dissemination of information on EU technologies, research projects and programmes- promotion of the results of specific EU energy projects- collaboration with Government energy initiatives to contribute to the development of a sustainable energy economy- collaboration with regional organisations to encourage sustainability The Centre is ideally placed to work through and secure the collaboration of all appropriate Government agencies, regional and local authorities in Ireland. By positioning OPET activities alongside the initial initiatives, the Commission will obtain the most cost-effective promotional activities. Project cost:95350 EURO Project Funding:47675 EURO
