Description - Tenders are invited for Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) will be seeking proposals for Doc15887775 Network Aerial Surveys (Cycle 8+) in mid-July.Background and Scope:EQL conducts inspection and survey programs to identify vegetation encroachments and overhead conductor clearance issues. From this, the business develops mitigation works to ensure the network safety and reliability of EQL’s distribution network is maintained or improved.EQL engages multiple service providers (internal and external) that conduct aerial survey of network assets. This work generates the following types of surveillance data:LiDAR (Point cloud) data at various levels of accuracy and density according to acquisition technology2D and 3D imagery such as high-resolution photographs, orthorectified imagery and satellite imagery3D Overhead Network Assets (e.g. conductors) and Terrain (e.g. ground/structure) models3D Substation Models andAssociated environmental information (dimensional and climatic at time of capture).
