Description - Description: NOTICE DESCRIPTION The US Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Kerry Actuator Company under the authority of FAR 13.106. Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceed ing the simplified acquisition threshold. This requirement is for miter gate actuators purchased back in the late 1990s from The Kerry Company Inc. They have been in service at AR Locks 4 and 5 ever since. The original contract included two spare units which are the ones we are rebuilding.
