Description - Description: A superconducting dipole magnet is to be procured for the MADMAX project for the search for dark matter. The sample volume, magnetized to an average of more than 4 T over a length of 50 cm, must be able to accommodate a cylinder with a d iameter of approximately 60 cm and must be directly accessible from both ends. The homogeneity of the magnetic field (B-field) within the sample volume should be better than 10%. The magnet must not exceed a length and height of 4 meters each, and a weight of 80 tons.
