Description - Landsvirkjun, the National Power Company of Iceland, is planning to build the Hvammur HEP, 95 MW hydroelectric project on river Þjórsá in southern Iceland. The scope of works for Civil Works, HVM-10, consists of construction of dams, spillway stru ctures, including bridges, and fishways, headrace canal and intake structure, foundations and embedment for penstocks, access tunnel, powerhouse and surroundings with relevant installations and systems, surge basin, tailrace tunnel, tailrace canal, access roads and permanent water supply, see further in appendices.
