Description - The project "Warning system for leaching of pesticides into groundwater" (hereafter VAP) is a monitoring program which has two main purposes: 1) To investigate and warn early if approved pesticides or their breakdown products are leached into young g roundwater in concentrations above the limit value. 2) To improve and disseminate the scientific basis for optimizing the Danish authorities' approval and regulation procedures for pesticides on the basis of the collected monitoring data The monitoring results are used directly in the Danish Environmental Protection Agency's regulation of pesticides, which is why documented quality assurance of analysis methods and results as well as low detectio
