Description - Abri implemented a Slow Cooker Project in January 2023, aiming to provide support for customers targeting the cost-of-living crisis by offering support and education around a low energy option for cooking.We are looking to renew and expand this servi ce to ensure we have low energy cooking projects running where there is a need in all ten of our community investment zones.Although Abri have previously focused these sessions on the use of slow cookers, we would now encourage potential suppliers to develop their own low energy cooking programmes, focusing on the use of any low energy equipment such as air fryers, microwaves, slow cookers, electric hobs, or any other energy efficient method.
