Description - The aim and purpose of the project is to modernize lifts at Rikshospitalet as there is a great need for modernisation. The normal lifespan of a lift is estimated to be between 20-25 years. The largest proportion of today's lifts at Rikshospitalet hav e existed since 1996 (NS-EN 81-1) and bear the hallmarks of continuous operation and sometimes hard use. There is a lot of wear and tear on the lifts, partly due to frequent use and collisions. This project includes 32 of the lifts at Rikshospitalet, of which 5 are hydraulic and 27 wire lifts. The cable lifts have a machine room at the top, hydraulic ones have a machine room at the bottom - these must be used.The project is now in the planning ph
