Invitation For Tenders for construction of the new bridge over the Velika Morava river, on the
JOVAC - CUPRIJA section of Belgrade - Niš railway line
PE "Serbian Railways", hereinafter referred to as "the Employer", intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Investment Bank (the Bank) towards the cost of execution of the works related to the construction of the new bridge over the Velika Morava river, on the JOVAC - CUPRIJA section of Belgrade-Niš railway line.
The Employer now invites the tenderers [suppliers/contractors] to submit the sealed tenders for the following contract to be funded from a part of the proceeds of the loan:
Construction of the new bridge over the Velika Morava river, on the JOVAC - CUPRIJA section of Belgrade-Niš railway line Within the first stage of reconstruction and modernization of the existing Gilje - ?uprija - Para?in single-track section, a double-track railway brigde over the Velika Morava river should be constructed on the new location. The line is electrified. The construction can support train operation with the speed of 160 km/h.
On the concerned section, the following contracts will be performed simultaneously with this contract:
- Execution of the works related to construction of the new double track line;
- Execution of the works related to reconstruction and modernization of the siganlling and safety installations;
- Execution of the works related to reconstruction and modernization of the OCL and electric power installations;
- Execution of the works related to reconstruction and modernization of the telecommunication installations and cables;
The above works are scheduled in stages and are planned to be completed along with the construction of the bridge.
