Tenders are invited for Reconstruction Of A380 Road.
The Republic of Uzbekistan has applied for a Loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) using ADB Multitranche Financing Facility (MFF) towards the cost of road reconstruction of about 222 Km of national highways from two asphalt lanes to four lanes of cement concrete pavement under the CAREC Corridor 2 Road Investment Program, and it is intended that part of the proceeds of the MFF will be applied to payments under Tranche 1 civil works contract Reconstruction of A380 GuzarBukharaNukusBeyneu road section from km 440 to km 490 (50 km) for which this invitation for bids is issued. International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB Single-Stage Two-Envelope bidding procedure with post-qualification and is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in July 2010 (contractor mobilization in September 2010). Construction duration is scheduled within 18 months including mobilization period.

To purchase the bidding documents in English including softcopy in a CD (pdf and AutoCad files), eligible bidders should write to address above requesting the particular bidding document for which the bidder intents to submit bid and pay a nonrefundable fee of US$500 or equivalent sum in Uzbekistan Soum (UZS) by exchange rate of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on the date of payment.
Bidders should deliver their bids to address below, at or before 11:00 hours (Tashkent Time) on 21 May 2010 together with a bid security of US$ 1,900,000.
