International Competitive Bidding (ICB) For Boiler, Turbine, Generator Package (BTG Package) On EPC Basis For Coal Fired Power Plant Of 1050 Mw ("Plant").

BACKGROUND:
Dheeru Powergen Private Limited (DPPL) is setting up a 1050MW coal fired power
Plant at Village Dhanras, Tehsil Katghora, in Korba district of Chhattisgarh State in
India. Dheeru Powergen Private Limited (DPPL) is a joint venture company between
IDFC Projects Limited and Ranhill Dheeru Malaysia (RDM), Malaysia having its
corporate office in New Delhi.

SCOPE:
DPPL invites bids from reputed Bidders for Boiler, Turbine, Generator and accessories
(BTG) package on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis excluding
BOP & Civil works, for the Plant. The Bidder shall be responsible for the basic and
detailed design, engineering, manufacturing, shop fabrication, assembly, testing and
inspection at supplier’s works, packing, dispatch, shipping, delivery at Indian
port/unloading at Indian port/delivery from Indian port to site in case of imported
equipment and delivery/unloading at site for indigenous equipment, unloading and
storing at site, insurance up to time of handing over, handling at site, complete
erection, start-up, commissioning, successful performance testing and handing over
of the BTG Package, and warranty during warranty period for the BTG Package.

BID QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS The bidder should have supplied, erected and commissioned at least two (2) drum type coal fired steam generators of rating 300 MW and above with F Grade coal having ash content of more than 40% as reference/design coal as per the coal analysis which shall be a part of the bid specification. AND
The bidder should also have supplied, erected and commissioned at least two (2) steam turbine generators (for fossil fuel fired units) of 300 MW and above with steam parameters equal to or higher than those offered. AND
Such steam generator and major auxiliaries and the steam turbine generators should have been in successful commercial operation for a period of not less than five (5) years as on the last date of submission of the bid. Details shall be available in the Bid document.

can be collected by eligible Bidder or his authorized representative on submission of
a written request to Chief Executive Officer, Dheeru Powergen Pvt. Ltd. on the
address mentioned below on payment of the cost of document (non-refundable) in
the form of crossed Account Payee Demand Draft for Rs. 100,000 (Rupees One
Hundred Thousand) or equivalent amount in US Dollars drawn on any Indian
Nationalised bank or its foreign branch or issued by a foreign bank and
countersigned by an Indian Nationalised bank in favour of 'Dheeru Powergen Pvt.
Ltd.' payable at New Delhi.
